This is an exceptionally well built offshore fishing machine. She started as a 1967 Chris Craft Commander hull that in its day was known as the best built hull in the world. The builder stripped her down to her bare lower hull and started building from there up. Every single part was overbuilt to meet the most demanding specifications. Her cabin and pilot house style helm station were custom built from marine grade aluminum and finished with epoxy paint. The cabin entry is of soft canvas and leads down to a large cabin area with over 6 of head room. The cabin interior is Spartan but functional, and has massive storage for all of your fishing gear. There is seating along both sides of the cabin, as well as a large storage shelving unit on the starboard side. The deck is a teak and holly material that is attractive and functional. There is a large hatch that provides light and ventilation. Her pilot house style helm provides great visibility, while giving you the very best weather protection possible. Her leaning post helm station is comfortable with a bait prep area aft of the seat, and a cooler storage spot. She is equipped with a Northstar 5500 Sonar and a Northstar 457 GPS/Chartplotter, a Navman VHF radio and Ritchie Fisherman compass. All of your instruments and controls are within easy reach.
The walkaround is wide, and the freeboard keeps you dry and comfortable no matter how rough the seas might be. Forward there is a nice seat in front of the cabin, and a storage compartment for your forward tackle. The Lewmar windlass is well mounted and the anchor roller keeps the anchor solidly in place. The cockpit is large enough for a gang of anglers, and the doghouse has a nice cushion to rest your weary bones on. She is just about the perfect working fishing boat. Her Mercruiser 7.4 EFI engine and Bravo drive deliver 43 mph top end and will run at 28mph at 2800rpm. She works cheap burning less than 10 gallons an hour at WOT. Her maiden shakedown cruise was with 8 souls on board, in 4 to 6 foot slop and she was as comfortable as a downtown sofa.
